Hi everyone. This is my first post in this section. I was hoping that someone might have some info on this knife. It is marked Buck TOTMCTRD. My research revealed that the second set of letters stands for Tottenham Court Road, which is a famous London street. Goins says pre 1890 for this marking. My question; is this at all related to Buck USA knives or is it something completely different? I would appreciate any further information that you have. Thanks in advance.

Hello Smiles and welcome to the Buck forum. That is a very interesting looking knife. I can say for sure that it is not related to the Buck company in the US. I have seen or heard of a few other Buck companies over the years but have no information on them. Have you tried Bernard Levine's forum? I'll bet he knows something about that knife.

Thank-you Joe. The thick serrated, but not sharp, blade on the left was designed to break the wires holding the corks on champagne bottles. I believe the case is made of nickel. I will try BRL for more info on the marking. Thanks again.
