Can anyone identify this knife? It has Buck stamped on the left side read tip up. I thought the older knives were read tip facing down? Could this be a fake?

looks real to me !
got a find there!
i suposed Joe should jump in on this
i only know 110...
not fixed ... yet

Nice looking knife Mike. Can you tell if it is a barrel nut or pinned construction? Also does it look like the "BUCK" stamp was made up of individually stamped letters (maybe some slight misalignment letter to letter)
or a single stamp?

C'mon Joe...tell us it's a Group 8, didn't it get mentioned once that the 103 Skinner was originally the 110, prior to the 110 folders release in 1964. Some one refresh my fading memory.

It doesn't appear to be pinned. The knife is being offered in an auction. The Buck stamp appears to me to be one stamp, not individual letters. I also remember that the number 110 was used for a fixed balde knife, but I don't know if it was the skinner. I'm with Scott. If it's real, I believe it to be either a series eight or nine.
