old buck lucite that sold on flea bay

This knife sold on the auction site, i bid on it but lost in the last few seconds,
I wish I would of went higher but I still would've probably been out bid, at least i lost to someone else that likes these old Buck knives.

Well I am hoping it supports my theory that unmarked Lucites are from before 1945, which is when Hoyt moved back to San Diego to live with his son Al. If it is, it will be the oldest one I own.
The edge was bellied out some so it would not surprise me at all to learn that the kid got a little carried away on his grinder! :rolleyes:
