Old Buck

Yup, I like knives! Just signud up today. Figured i'd say "hello" and throw something out there. I picked up an old Buck folder today. I've used and still have a few Bucks(102, 124, and a few folders) but never really got into them. This folder seemed different. Can't seem to figure out how to post a pic though. Looks like an old version of the 110 size and shape. The stamp is "BUCK" only and is parallel to the blade. You can read the stamp when the blade is closed. Also the brass butt has a wooden spacer. Inside where the blade folds into it is also wood. Anyone out there have any info? Year(s) made, steel used, any kind of history on it? Googled a little but there's so many Bucks out there it's almost impossible to sort through and get some good info! I can send a pic via email if interested. Any info or even a link would be great.
