Old Busse article

So I found this old Old Busse article in this knife book from 2005. It had one page on Busse knives and so I took two pictures of the page. I found it very interesting. Mainly Because the Steel Heart E that is listed had slotted bolts and listed as having INFI steel. I wish I had one... What else is amazing is the knives listed are in a book for 2005 but I think they stopped making those particular knives way before that. So all you out there, here is a little bit of history.



 
Nice find Dan. I only wish I had discovered Busse knives back then....I'm lovin the Old School Battle Mistress.

Back when I was dual income and no kids, I could have set my collection up for life!

The Mistress and the Steel Heart E look like a straight handle with some ergonomics to it. Was that the beginning of the ergos?
 
There was a thread or comment back then about the art work (E-handle vs original handle style on the Heart) being mixed up by the publisher.

Yes, there were some great deals to be had then, but there are some great deals to be had now. :thumbup: :cool:

The the term you are describing is a "dink" dual income no kids :)

I know cause someone refered to me as a "dink"and I was half listening to their conversation... Needless to say I may have given one of those "do I look like I won't knock you off your barstool kinda stares" because he quicky explained the acronym and was quick to change the subject lol :o
Ahhhhh....I digress ;)
