I just won an old/new stock 112 on that auction site. Looking at the pictures (it's unopened), you can just see the edge of the 1986 date stamp. Here's a link to the auction, I'm really looking forward to this one!

It looks to be a 1986. Did you notice the 2 dot 112 on that page as well? That one has a blade of 440C. Still, some like to only collect the knifes which are new and in the box with all the paperwork. DM

Currently, I have a newer (2011 or 2012), 112 with finger grooves that I've been using. I like my custom shop 110 that has finger grooves, but for some reason, they just don't feel right to me on the 112. I've been wanting to get a standard 112 for a while and couldn't pass this one up. Needless to say it's going to be removed from the packaging and used, lol.
