Old but significant thread...

Hogs from all over the country, and Canada donated a knife (new satin jack) to my cousin before he deployed to Afghanistan. Buy Brown (David Brown) made him a donated sheath.

The good folks at the shop got the order done dast, and to him before he deployed.

All great people!

What was really awesome about this is that the knife was to be sold for supplies to aid folks in a nearby village...a new well, some roofing, repairs, etc. Search 'Embrace The Suck' to see how Jerry kicked it up a notch. :)

Awww man!!!!

Look I'm Canadian therefor I have the opportunity of being close to Americans ( physically and psychologically). I, also, have an outsider's view. It's this type of story that brings out the true spirit of the American people. Americans are MUCH more than the political bodies that governs them.

I've seen it, and benefitted from it, first hand. I have, and will continue to have, "constructive talks" with whoever gives me grief concerning Americans. People may disagree with politics ....... But, damn, you're good folks. Period.

Not sucking up, just stating my experience.

That was a great project. Glad I was able to be a small part of it.
