Old Camp Butcher Knife !

Seeing Noah's Apocolyptic survival knife reminded me that I entered one in the same contest:

I based this design on the old Green River Knives, I'd still like to see this knife come to life but maybe a little larger than my drawing had intended, maybe more like the size of this one:

Nice and thin with a full flat grind it would make a great kitchen and camp knife, what do ya think ?
 
while i like most of your designs that i've seen, this one,, not so much.

it' looks a little too blunt to me, like a regrind of an Old Hickory someone broke the tip on.

the GRK seems more suited to butchering to me. better radius on the belly and a few other things.

Yeah I totally agree buddy, my design was for a 4" bladed knife to be used like you would a Kephart or Nessmuk.
For the Camp kitchen I totally think the GRK is better suited, I was just wondering if anyone would like to see Mark make a better quality GRK like in the pic, better handle slabs etc !

I'd also like to see it with a slightly bigger drop after the handle than the one in the pic. After much net searching I found this which is very close to what I had in mind:
