Hi fellas. I sure do like to read your knife knowledge on this board.
In the past fifty or so years that I've been carrying a knife, one knife has a special place in my pocket. I saw my dad skin rabbit and dress turtle, rig a fishing line, and open Christmas presents with his. When he passed, I retired his, but my mother found one almost like it a made it one of my favorites. I look for another like it wherever I see old Case knives but never have found one. I don't think it's a collector, just rare. It's a three blade folder about 3.5" OAL. Dad's has yellow scales, mine has stag. It has a large clip blade on one end and two smaller blades on the other. The unusual characteristic is that the large blade folds down between the two smaller blades. This requires the two back springs to be separated by a tapering shim on the two blade end, and side-by-side on the large blade end. Does this knife have a name or type that I can lookout for as I try to find another? Any input appreciated. Thanks. relic
