I don't have any pictures handy, but the renderings near the bottom of this page give you a pretty good idea. The older style is more of an S curve. I'm sure if you looked through some older posts there will be some pics that show clips old and new. There is nothing wrong with the old clip BTW, it just didn't favor jeans and other thick fabric as well as the new one.
