Hi i am looking at a vintage Collins. Has the rectangle box with Collins stamped inside. Bit it has the letters TG on reverse. They look lije exact font as front. Any idea what they mean? Doesnt look at all like homemade initials. Looks like factory stamp.

Small number and letter codes are most often associated with the later True Temper's. Just exactly what they mean has never really been confirmed. On some of them they were actually model numbers in the earlier TT axes.

I don't recall seeing them on Collins. But this thread showed up not long ago though that did have a Collins stamped axe with TF stamp on it.
