I've got a mid 90's delica that is really stiff. is there any way to loosen the pivot or lubricate it or something?

Try flushing it out with some WD40 , then if you have a can of air , spray the heck out of the pivot and get all the Wd out you can manage , wipe off with paper towel and qtips or whatever you have , the point is to get as much of the dirty/gunky WD40 off as you can , then gently lube with some
3n1 or Breakfree , something along those lines.

Thx. I will definantly give it a shot. I remember trying the wd40 on it when I was in jr high, but never tried to clean the wd back off. I am beginning to think that for better or worse it may just be a really tight knife. Oh well, never had much use for a serrated blade anyway.

rebeltf has a great suggestion. WD40 is not a great lube for knives or guns. It tends to gunk things up (collected dust/debris). After spaying out with WD40 to dissolve the old WD40, wash with soap and water, dry, then re-lube.
I like Miltec and Tuf-Glide. Ballistrol (sp?), Break-Free, and a few others are also good lubes. Some people even use mineral oil for those knives used for food prep.
