I never have intended to 'collect' any particular pattern of knife, but I realize I've accumulated a bunch of USA made Delrin stockmans and jacks, c. 1960s to '90s. Here's a little game: Can you identify what brands I have here? Bonus question: Which of these things doesn't belong?

TOP ROW
3rd from left has no visible shield, but....
4th from the left is the only one with squared bolsters :)

So there are a number of "this thing is not like the others" - our job is to guess which of the many discrepancies you had in mind?

Ok - top row, second from right, is a jack and not a stockman.

Edit - oops, you said they were all jacks and stockmans, so that's not it... Hmmm...

LOL.

Top row, first knife on the left is the only one within 1 inch of the left edge of the picture on my monitor.

What do I win?

Brands: Camillus, Schrade, Western.

My three favorite makers!

Can't identify the odd one, though.

Sorry. Looking at it now, there are more discrepancies than I thought. One of them being stainless is pretty significant, but I just wondered if anyone would catch the one I had in mind. It also has a significant difference from the others.

A laugh from me :D Good one!

PS What doesn't belong? Longshot: First knife, top left--Camillus 69 (if memory serves)--it has a Turkish clip blade

Top Row: Camillus, Camillus, Kutmaster, then four Schrades.

Bottom Row: Camillus, Western, Western, Utica - this one is bone not delrin and is a recently made knife.

I thought that the top left knife was a bone WESTERN. But it could be a Camillus, alright, or an Ulster... I still think it's bone. Is the third knife from top left a muskrat?

Some really nice examples of well done delrin.

I am coming around to the idea that the last (bottom right) knife is indeed bone. Either way its a great looking knife. If Utica, how do you like it? From this distance it seems to stack up nicely against the others.

Bottom row far right is NOT Delrin it is Staged bone. I think :)

Yep, it is. :)

That's right! I was being tricky. The last one is bone, and the only one still in production.

Y'all really "Have the eye", I'm impressed. I hope my little quiz was fun, and not just frustrating.

I like it a lot. The fit and finish isn't perfect, but for a working knife it stacks up fine.
