old diamond sleeves for sharpmaker

I have an old set od diamond sleeves for my ancient sharpmaker. Are the new sleeves different somehow? I don't think the old ones are worn out. Just wondering if new is better? TIA
 
nah dude, they are not sleeves, but rods just like the grits.. Check em out on Spyderco's website! ;)
