I have an old FRN Endura with the narrow frn clip. The blade is marked SPYDERCO on one side and SEKI-JAPAN on the other. No mention of steel type.Does anyone know what type steel it might be?Thanks.tom.

Probably G2. I have no other info than that, hopefully someone with more info will chime in soon.

All my old plastic clip Enduras and Delicas are either marked G-2 or marked (ie., not marked) as Tom described. However, I can't find my black Ti Endura or my regular blade Delica, one of which I could swear was marked AUS 8. The others are three black Enduras, an olive Delica, a red Endura, and a black Ti Delica. All the ones I can find right now have thin clips except for the last one.

If I'm right about the AUS 8, that and G-2 are the only steels I have, and that I'm aware of for the old models.
