Old Endura

I was just browsing ebay a few minutes ago and came across an old Endura that was still new. The auction had less than a minute left on it so i went for it. ended up getting it for $26. Can anyone tell me about the older Endura? I believe this one has AUS 8 steel and the zytel handle. aside from that i dont really know anything about them.

thats is a great price...with the economy the way it is, there are some great buys to be bought out there. as for some info, i wrote this article awhile back. the site is great if you need to know something about any spyderco knife.

That looks like a Gen 1 model w/ the molded clip. If so I have one just like it. It was my second Spyderco. Bought it back in the early nineties I think. I love the AUS 8 blade. It's held a good edge all these years and I haven't had any problems with chipping. I've also not had any trouble with the molded on clip.

I still have my gen 1 Endura. I love it and I think you got a really good price.
