I have too wait in tomorrow for my first ever gunstock jack to be delivered,

In a trade I made in England (never seen one in real life).

So no contest,no fuss if someone wants this and says so on here I will print the label and hand it to the postman tomorrow when he delivers.

I will post anywhere that its legal to do so.

I bought it last week in a antique shop all the blades where stuck and it was quite gungy.

Cleaning up old tools is something I enjoy a lot,now the blades open very nicely and have snap.

It has a lot of features I have heard people mention they like such as. 😁

A long pull (on the fish scaler).
A bail
A nice shield
the scales are good, I know the can opener works well as I already have one of this model, though not in as good condition as this one.

I will give it 3.5 hours from now as I have to schedule the collection and print and pack, its 8pm here.

I love old camp knives. I am loathe to deny someone more deserving an opportunity at the knife, but if no one else pipes up, I would gladly give it a home. I would give it the daily backpack carry spot currently occupied by my (less) old Camillus BSA scout knife.

Edit to add: Here is the aforementioned backpack and Scout knife.

As Jon was first to express a (modest) interest its now packed and labelled ready when my postie calls in the morning.:)

Classic! One of my first memories as a kid is waiting for my dad, and my uncle, to come out of the old Richards factory :D Nice giveaway

I got so angry with my printer, about 5 years ago, that I took it out and threw it in the bin! :D Probably not the smartest thing I've done! :D

Not an entry from me, but good luck everyone

Wow you've been in the factory?
That's the same model.

This new service where RM collect from home is great.
If its domestic they even print the label for you and bring it with them, its scanned as well so no problem if it goes missing proving it.
International you have to sign customs so you have to print yourself.
At the moment there is no charge either.
Saves me at least £5 driving to the post office as well 😆

Yeah, as a kid, and as an adult, I had relatives working there from the late 50's to 1982. I'll PM you an article on the firm, interesting history.

That would work out pretty good for me. Taking parcels to the post office, the other week, with a bad back, was no fun!

The other advantage was when they where short of postman they had to come to my house to collect and they also bought my mail. 😆
