I got this sweet silver antique multitool (knife, scissors & manicure thingy) in the mail today. Cost was only slightly more expensive than the stamp on the envelope. Sometimes unclear auction pictures are a real blessing, if you're willing to take the gamble...

Now you say so, it does look like that... However, it's the silver scales that got hammered during production many decades ago, as a decorative measure. And i can assure you that in reality it looks nicer than on the picture.

I just slid the knife in an existing crack in the wood. I would never hammer (or baton or whatever) a knife, especially a folding one.
