Old Glory EDC... anyone have one yet?

I liked the looks of the Camillus EDC a while back but went with a Kershaw Boa instead... Now they have the "Old Glory" version of the EDC and I'm back hunting the Web for the best deal... two questions to anyone who owns one...

How durable are the colors on the handle? Is it Paint? or something else?

Is is available with the better blade material? 154CM... or is 420HC good enough for daily use?

Would serve as a backup should I lose my Boa (weeping.. weeping..)

AFAIK, the Old Glory EDC has a blade of 420HC. The flag motif is applied to the handle using the same technology as gun makers use to camoflage shotgun barrels, from what I hear it is very durable. It looks very nice too, there's a high gloss to the surface.
