Old Green River Knives

I am looking for a source of information to help identify the age and authenticity of Green River knives. I would like to know how to identify 1830 models from 1900 models. Can anyone suggest a good reference book that gives some good information about the history of the Green River knives? There seems to be a lot of variations.
