I picked this thing up at a flea market for $7. I'm sure I paid what it is worth, but for an old worn out slippy, it's been getting more and more pocket time. Main blade has excellent snap and a half-stop. The pen blade has no snap at all, but is actually pretty handy that way because it is so easy to open. If anyone has any additional info on this knife I"d appreciate it! Can anyone tell if this was originally a clip, filed to a sheepsfoot, or if it supposed to be a sheepsfoot? As a sheepsfoot, it is pretty handy and has a lot of life left in it yet. I know it's a jack knife, but is this considered a cigar jack? I've seen this shield on Walden Knives, but not on a Hammer, but the pen blade says New York Knife Walden, main blade Hammer.
Any ideas what type of bone this is? I'm sure my bad pic doesn't show it, but it has some nice jigging.
