Old handmade knife

I have a knife that bought awhile ago.. It is handmade-it is about
19" long and has handmade sheath. I looks like knives that i have seen that came from philippines. I have pictures,it very well made and very sharp. It has what i guess is a small leather belt.
(ties on) i would say that the person would have had a 24 inch waist. Is there anyone out there who can help me. I am new to the forum!
