This an area I have been hiking for about 3 years. It is close by where I stay sometimes in California. It’s a large wooded area with plenty of rattlesnakes, coyotes, rabbits, and squirrels. I seem to be hiking and going everywhere with my camera bag these days. I don’t really have a place to keep my Platypus hydration bag or a water bottle so the ESEE Sig bottle comes in handy. I can use the carabineer and attach it to one side of my camera bag leaving my hands free to get out of the fire swamp (Princess Bride innuendo).

Great pics! As you know if you live in California you've seen your fair share of snakes, mostly Rattlesnakes. Summertime has moved in real early this year, the whole state has gone through full blume already.

I made a couple of belt holders for a pair 500ml Titanium Thermos bottles. They weigh half as much as the frozen daiquiris inside.

Sweet photos Reuben! Makes me regret never making it that far west before I became a parent and could still just disappear for a while.
