Hey y'all!

I'm new here, so forgive me for popping in just to inquire about this knife. This was in an old tacklebox of my mother's. It was completely rusted before I cleaned it up. It says "Ideal's Silver Fist Fitt" and at the bottom "Ideal Products Inc. JAPAN." Does anyone know anything about the company or style? And could it actually be silver? I tried to research about the company but couldn't find much.

Doesn't look like Silver.

Also looks like there may be a few letters after fitt

Unless it's just for the sake of curiosity, it's probably not worth it to spend too much time researching it.

Well, its silver colored.....may have been chrome plated at one time...probably says Fist Fillet on the blade too....

Cool cool, I thought it probably wasn't silver since I didn't see it marked as sterling. Thanks for the input!

One of the countless unknown knives ordered by some US Import Company at an OEM factory in Japan. Looks like carbon steel making it probably from 1960s/70s rather than 80s.
