Old Ka-Bar BK2 vs New Ka-Bar BK2 Sheathing Questions....

If I have a New Ka-Bar BK2, and make a kydex sheath with it, will it fit the Old Ka-Bar BK2?

Or, will I have to be on the lookout for Old Ka-Bar BK2 for the purposes of making sheaths?

I have access to an old Camillus BK2 to make sheaths, so I have that covered, but I will be acquiring all the common Beckers for sheathing, and need to keep track of the variations and differences...

I could be wrong, but I don't think any changes were made in the blade shape or its dimensions. All the changes were in the tang. So, you should be okay! I'm sure other forum members will chime in if I'm wrong.

I agree. As far as I know, only the tang was affected by the changes.

It really should not be a problem....All the changes are in the handle area and the ones that touch Kydex are internal....

Perfect, I want to do an order with Tomar anyway, so I will add in a new BK2 when he has them...
