Picked this up the other day. Researched as much as I could. I know it's before 1940 since the E C Simmons tang stamp stopped when Shapleigh bought them out. What I can't find is this E C Simmons tang stamp that has St. Louis MO on it anywhere.
Also, I couldn't find where the KK brand was made in Sterling Silver and it's clearly marked on both sides on the handles/scales.
This was sold to me as being made right around the early 1900's and quite possibly the late 1800's. That may be inaccurate but I'm not the expert and I'm reaching out to the true experts here.
Here's the pics and a really nice close up of the tang stamp.
Please help me narrow down the year this knife was produced.
