Old knife, Junk?????????

I got an old knife in the mail today sent down from a family member. When I first heard she was sending the knife I was excited. All I knew was that it was old, And she didn't want it. When I recieved it today, I am thinking she may have wasted her money with postage. But I am a novice and know very little. So I scanned a few pics and threw them on a website for viewing real quick, Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Hi,

Bear Hunter is a Frost import brand, their a higher end Pakistan brand. They're usually inked with the Pakistan marking, and stamped with the German marking, which is sometimes removed to fool people. They sell in the $5-10. The Shop at Home show offers them a lot.

I figured something along those lines. Oh well. At least I didn't pay for it. I wasn't 100% sure B/C its actually well made and very solid. I guess I will just throw it in the Toolbox or something.
