This is my personal Utility/Hunter I made and maybe posted here some time ago. I decided it deserved a quality photo. Burt Foster was kind enough to photograph it for me, and I'm very pleased.

Forged 1084 edge quenched with a satin finish, hidden tang, some file work on the spine. 416 SS guard. Maple burl handle and silver wire inlayed boarder with stippling dyed dark brown. 4.25" blade, 8.5" OAL. The sheath is basswood lined, two tone dyed, tooled & stippled.

The quality of Burt's photograph is exceeded only by the quality of your work. Exemplary!

The reminiscences of Joe Keeslar's style of filework is speaking to me....

That is one exceptionally fine hunter, and the sheath work is every bit as good. The stippling and wire inlay on the handle elevate this piece significantly.

Thank you all for the kind comments.

Coop, you Sir are correct, that is Kesslaresque file work, I tried engraving details.... but could not make it work!
