Old knife.

A friend of mine has this antique dagger he found withe a hand forged steel blade and a hand forged bronze sheath with a depiction of a person and some Arabic symbols and it also has an inscription that says "Of Baalbeck". I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they knew how old it is.

The likelihood of anyone knowing anything about your knife with that description alone is practically nil. Try to take some good photos of the knife in question, including a straight-on overview and closeups of any markings or features.
Also, be aware of the Bernard Levine's Knife Identification forum section. But get your pictures ready first, trust me.
