Hi all, I have a few items that hopefully the members can help me to identify it's value, I plan to sell all of them.

My father-in-law was a businessman, back then he bought these as collections without having any knowledge in them. How he choose was either by friends recommendation or by the look of it.

It is all mainly for collection, never used before. he has kept them all for more than 20 years, mostly bought between year 1990 - year 2000. Now that we are going to shift house and have no place to keep them, I'm looking to sell it away.

He can't remember how much he paid for them and after doing some research online, I notice some are sought after items.

Please see below link for all of the items. If you are interested in purchasing any of it, we can work it out, I'm located in Singapore. Feel free to let me know if you need any other pictures, or let me know from which angle you want me to take them.

Welcome to the forum, Ken. A paid membership, at the gold level I believe, is required here to engage in selling items or value feedback type questions. We can’t discuss pricing of your items, or make offers, until that happens. Sorry.

Oh, thank you for the info! I've upgraded my membership, looking forward to all the favorable replies!

I feel pretty bad telling you this, but the vast majority of these items are NOT gonna fetch you much on the secondary market, certainly not here on the Blade Forums Market.

Everything that says hibben or united cutlery is cheap, but you can sometimes find collectors on the Bay.

Anything that just says "Stainless" without giving you the name of the steel is probably just as cheap (or worse).

It looks like most if not all of your collection is cheap Chinese products mass produced for the western market.

Thank you for your very honest reply, I really appreciate it. Can I just ask, how about Al Mar stuffs? I thought they were the better ones?

Anyone can advise me was the worth of these?

There’s a FBI pathfinder, a 25th anniversary special force green beret bayonet? A president memorial Bowie and 1 that I do know belongs in which category.

I see that one of those 25th anniversary Green Beret knives sold for $1095.00 earlier this year at Arizona Customs.

That FBI Pathfinder is a rare knife.

that's quite a bunch of fantasy art knives from the likes of
dr fred carter (gigand, double 8 trading masterknife)
gil hibben (united cutlery)
kit rae (united cutlery)
herman schneider inspired homage
its an aquired taste.

In nice (Near Mint) shape -

#1 The FBI Pathfinder is $700 - 800 Usually.
#3, The SF-10 is a $6 - 800 knife usually.
#4, The Al Mar Smatchet is usually a $5-700 knife.

That may seem a little low, but that's the average I've seen over the years, also while a second hand dealer might get a higher price, the commission is usually 30-40% now, so it evens out a bit.

These Fred Carters do surprisingly well on Ebay sometimes.

This one is a Vaciacraft Philippines Dagger, Probably $50-75 now.

Thank you so much for sharing, it’s definitely pleasing to know it’s a rare knife. They were almost sold as junks lol

Lol yes I’ve sold off a few to such knives collector this few days. Its definitely important to find someone who appreciates them. Thank you for identifying them. The only ones I could find online was the gigand and hibbenknives. Maybe united cutlery too. The rest I couldn’t really find or recognise since they write in cursive writing. Thanks again!

Thank you so so much for the pricing guide! The Al mars, if anyone is looking to buy at these prices I’ll be more than willing to sell, shipping may be a challenge though if it’s out of my country.

I guess I’m definitely at the right place. Thank you once again for sharing these information!
