I purchesed recently an old stroping belt.I kind of new on the field of stropping.Basically try to find an answer for two questions.
First the strop has two parts first is the leather and a second is a canvas.
Wich I should use first the canvas or leather? Or the canvas is for totally different pourpose?Last one the leather looks old and dry can I refresh it with some cream,or shoepolish staff,or doing this will ruin the ability of polishing?
I would be more than happy to get any help on this
