The Ideal was modified by a previous owner, as you can see in the pictures. The tang stamp is old but is half washed out. It's a handy little knife, with just enough handle length to be comfortable. There's a slight amount of play in the buttcap, and a couple scratches on the tang nut o - a boozy ill-conceived attempt to tighten it up. The appropriate spanner would tighten it right up). I paid entirely too much for this blade on that one auction site a few years ago.
