Well, lets see how far this thread gets.

I don't restore motorcycles myself, but I do understand the love of old bikes. Recently on vacation in northern California, me and my brother pulled off the road at the Bixby Bridge. There happened to be a congregation of Triumph riders there.

I don't think the rear shocks are OEM, but I fell in love with this one. Can anyone identify make, model, and year?

First guess for me is an early 70's Tiger - but I'm no expert, just based on what I've glanced at over the years while I've dreamt about restoring / rebuilding something. Lots of images on Google to cross reference if you have the patience.
 
ETA: What makes you think the rear shocks aren't OEM ?

It looks like there is some other brand printed on there. I see the letters "HAG."
 
Those are Hagon rear shocks. It is, as suggested, a nice aftermarket upgrade. Also, there are plenty of places that supply rubber gaiters.
