Old Mundial folding knife

My fiancee's dad has it. It's a folding blade and I presume it's a liner lock.

I think it might be about 20 years old.

The blade is 4 and a half inches and the handle is probably about 5 and a half I think.

It feels well made and heavy and has the original leather pouch with a clip on it.

I've had a look on the net and can't find any Mundial folding blades, only kitchen cutlery.

Jaymz, if your knife is a Mundial, it is a Brazilian knife. They usually shamelessly copy any design out there because copyrights mean nothing to them. I do not know your particular knife, but I have reported several Puma White Hunter knock-offs by Mundial that were listed on eBay.

Ah I see. Thanks. I'll just tell my girls dad he can keep it then.

I'm looking for something more original.

Are they well made though, even though they are copies?
 
I would not expect much in terms of steel quality, not like an American or European knife.
