A while ago I had some friends over helping me with painting the house and other overdue chores.
One of them had this knife laying in his tool box.
When I asked him about it he said it belonged to his father in law and that he never uses it.
I could have it if I wanted. So....
As you can see it's in very bad shape:

Blade almost grinded away on a grinder and I had to use the screwdriver of my Pioneer to open the rest of the rusted shut tools

When you hold the knife against the light at a right angle you can faintly see "63" so it must be a 1963 manufactured or issued knife.
I think the scales are from some kind of wood.

Don't know what I will do with it.
I have no tools or talent to re scale it.
Maybe I'll try to de rust the knife, make it kinda working again and put it in the display with the rest of the traditionals.
Just wanted to share it with you all.
Thanks for watching
