What a great little knife. I can't imagine a better general purpose blade. Well done. Just installed Micarta scales. Nylon sheath is one of the best I've seen as well. Cool package.

59.95 plus Micarta scales. What a deal.

I like it too....LOL ..... I am glad that you are enjoying the Sweet Sixteen... I love all my children equally, of course but...... You are gonna love using it....

Was great to make your acquaintance at Blade West.... Please say hello to your Lovely Lady for me.....

Woah, you just complimented a Ka-bar sheath! :D
And I agree, FYI. Damn good value, and excellent package.

I'm a big fan of spraying the peanut-butter colored factory scales a nice safety orange.

Ok, I’m very much looking forward to your leather sheath now. :)

I like the BK16 better than anything its size. One of those creations where everything is just right.

But I wish that there was a slighter smaller version for everyday carry as the BK16 for me is a in the bag knife unless I'm doing something that specifically call for something its size.

Either a smaller 16 would be fine or a BK14 with a slightly larger handle for edc.

I think This is going to be my daughter's X-mas present...... She has been bugging me about getting a knife!

Thanks, hhmoore.

I think I will start a thread on this? :)

I carry this small bag with random crap in it scross, WA, ID and MT with my job, just put on the Beckerhead patch and the 16 fits right on the side. I will mess with a sheath tonight. Maybe black.

I made my Beckers bit by bit better by replacing all the handle scales.

First was get the knife/knives I wanted to have them so it wouldn't be a case of "Put off and off and off..." then the slow upgrades began as I had the knives already to do that.

Finished the sheath tonight. I like the simple brown. Feels good in hand. I split the leather from some heavy shoulder, used some black as the welt and a stainless snap.
Anyway, cool knife. I can't wait till next spring to head to the hills and put this blade to good use. Unless the Kephart is in my hand. Lol it never ends.

Very nice work...very clean looking. Your sheaths reflect that you take care to produce a quality product.

*Edit* The BK16 is also amazing!
