Old Oak utility-(warning polished steel!!)

Hi this is my latest, a basic utility.

Blade-5mm stock rwl34, full flat grind with secondary bevel, mirror polish.
H/t by M.Wardell.
Handle-cocobolo with red liners and brass rivets.
Sheath-3.5mm veg tan leather

Very nice! There's no reason a hardworking knife like that can't be good-looking, too. I get bored to tears with the same old 400-grit finishes most knives of this style have.
 
Can't see past that awesome polish... :p;) You've made a simple, no frills knife look very elegant. :thumbup:
 
Wow, that is a stunner. Yet it's so mellow. The red liners almost disappear in the cocobolo. I'd carry that knife daily

Ian, A exceptionally nice and I would say very usable knife.

I still have the white corian knife that I got from you a couple of years ago and use it on a regular basis and have dressed out numerous deer with just a a quick wipe across the Arkansas stone and it's like new again!
