Well, we've been busy getting ready for the Stamford Show next month and the Blade Show in June and we haven't been able to put much up lately but, I've been wanting to make this chopper for awhile and finally got around to it. I love the look of low count damascus on big blades. I hope you like it. The friendly folks at Blade Mag. were nice enough to put this one in the "Father's Day" insert of the July issue, also.

This 14" Bowie knife has an 8 1/2" blade (1 1/2" wide - 1/4" thick) of 100 layer high carbon "Random" pattern damascus steel. The handle is Desert Ironwood Burl with a throat of Azurite/Chrysacola stone, black/stainless steel spacers & a stippled stainless steel guard. The handle is finished off with a tri-tone mosaic pin. Tess did a great job on the tooled leather blade sheath with a full-body "Bald Eagle" carving.

That is really cool. The image is nice as well very well lit and shows off the details of the knife. The spaccers are cool. Looks almost too pretty to use.

I think I am in love with this knife and sheath. Outstanding!

The azurite looks like high quality material too.

A very unusual pattern and most attractive too. Hmmm... "organic" flow ??? Thats the best description I can come up with. Compared with many other damascus bowies that feature a muted colour scheme, this one looks downright cheerful ! Keep up the great work. Jason.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the "cheerful" comment Jason, really. I usually like to add a bit of color/life to our knives with the throats and brighter damascus. Thanks again.
