Old pivot style on Umnumzaan?

I am not sure what the difference is in the old and new style pivot on a Zaan. Can someone show or explain what the difference is.

Thanks very much. I have two with the old style. Is one considered better than the other or just different?

You could argue that the new pivot is better becaue you don't need a special tool for it, out side of that there is really nothing worth shouting about. They function in the exact same way.

I concur as well bc thats what I have, plus I have the tool but I wouldn't mind either one

I never undersood the big deal about the tool. Right when i got mine i wanted to take the lanyard off. I opened the junk drawer in my kitchen and found something to use to take it apart in less than 5 minutes. Iv used multiple things to open since then. Now, a microtech is another thing.

And im a fan of the old style. The new one looks cleaner but the older looks more awesome.

Old style makes the Zaan look like a... Zaan. New pivot makes it look like a new blade shapes Sebenza.

Either way, I like them both.
