I resent the title of this thread!!

A new member should not offend old members of this forum by calling them that!!

.......IM KIDDING! :)

Welcome to the forum.

As for pruning knives, the Opinel pruning knife springs to mind.

For vintage pruning knives and hawkbills, you might go look for them at estate sales and flea markets.

Hi guys i like your sense of humour that was good..any help is appreciated where do I look for traditional as I only collect vintage one's

I like them. You can find a wide variety at decent prices. Lots of different companies. If you like vintage pruners, you can't be too picky about condition, since they are hard use knives. I buy them, clean 'em up and give them away to non-knife people who garden, farm, landscape, etc.

My uncle, a NYC cop, gave me my first, Japanese made Sabre, 60s vintage. He called it a linoleum knife. In NYC, the curved blade, short length and non-locking blade made them a NYC legal weapon. He took it by force from a guy in a fight; hit him in the head from behind with his billy club. Kept the knife, buy let him go...didn't want the paperwork at the end of the shift.

What I lust for is the Case/Bose collaboration. It's 16 yo, does that count? When I had the chance many years ago, I didn't have the money, now I have the money...
