Hello John........big welcome :D I didn't think it'd be long before you pitched up here..!

Can you show us some pics of your nice ones please....?

Hi chui nice to see you yes thought i would give it a try as no one shared my interest on EM.. how do I put pictures up mate because I haven't got a clue

You'll get a taste of our taste for pruning knives on the thread titled "prune big or go home" also.

Very good that's what I like to hear:thumbsup: i don't know how to put pictures up if you can help I'll get some up to show you ;)

My wife had a collection of about 200 old pruners; US, Germany, English, etc. All the early, early US brands. Alas she sold the collection (against my advice) several years ago :-(

Hello and welcome. Go to the Tech Support part of this Forum, many people ask about showing images & you'll get a tutorial or advice there. I just got Imgur and put my photos there, copy the link and then paste them into the post I'm writing. There are other options too.

I know this is not vintage but Lyle's SFO looks the part with all steel construction and I think some very tidy bone. Based on GEC's 38 frame. Mr C.Campagna also issued some fine variants on the same frame, got them too, but this is m'user Nice blade.

Kind of stuff of nightmares:eek: Still, the knives likely went where they were appreciated....

I know what I need to do now to post pictures i will download photobucket or imagur later in the meantime if anyone has any pruners let's see some pic's

Haha do i need a paid subscription to post pictures

- it is simple for me to post pics, John, as I have had a Photobucket account for many years, so posting pics is a doddle.

On Edge Matters, we set it up so you could just drag pics off a desk top or your phone and input straight to your thread - don't know how it works on here, but given BladeForums upgraded its entire software not so long ago, I'd suggest it's easier than you think - perhaps Gary or Frank Peregrin Peregrin @knarfeng would be good enough to point you to a link/give some direction

Hi John, Three blue boxes appear at the bottom right of the post box. Click on the middle box "Upload a File" search for the photo you want on your hard drive. Select the photo and click "Open". The photo should appear in your post. Select thumbnail or full image as desired. When finished, click "Post reply" I hope this helps.
