Hey guys!t g

I just purchase this from Arizonaknives.. It was sitting on their site for about 8 months and no one pulled the trigger... There was a set the model 12-11 with a model 13-12 Dagger

The 13-12 dagger was sold within 2 months of listing it for 895.. I tried to buy the both but original owner would not nego on the Smithsonian which originally was priced at 1695..
i tried ti buy both for a fair price, but he did not want to nego.. I always wanted a 1950s set with the fat guards and leather washers... But really did not have the xtramoney to spend...

In any event a year goes by and for whatever reason inquired about the smithsonian and the guys at Arizonaknives said "make a offer" .. Well i did and was not really in the poistion to spend money, but what the hell...

So I got it! The handle is in awesome shape for the age and knife in general is stunning in my opinion especially for the price!

MY BIG QUESTION: there is no RANDALL STAMP on the blade.. Prior to my purchase i checked with a great Randall guy i know and he felt it was legit, but a future sale could be question(that was the main reason i wanted the matching DAGGER with CORRECT STAMP"

So what do you guys think about this BOWIE without the stamp??

I have search through pictures on the net of 1950s bowies with HEISER sheaths and many of the Randall blade stamps look faint.. some only half of the stamps start to fade..

Love to hear the comments event if they are BAD:eek:.. But its sure a beauty:!

Thanks for your time
D.

Legit, IMO. Probably a light maker's stamp that got removed when someone cleaned it up...

Agree with Sheldon. This was pointed out by me and discussed on another forum a while back. Btw. I love your new knife!
