Old Ranger??

Ok I dug out my old Buck Ranger and I am guessing it is from the 70's..
It say Buck USA when blade is pointed down but no model#..
It has what looks like Micarta slabs with only 3 pin's..
Am I on track or way off??
(I know I am being Lazy and not using search function!)

Brad, your on track:thumbup:. The first of the 112s were with micarta scales...pictures are the best way of getting the correct info. Nice old knife.

MikeK will be along and has one of that vintage and will most likely post a pic of it. Preston

...Ahhhhh...Another knife not worth giving all that precious storage space to store...Ya know...as a favor to a fellow forumite I could store it down here in Florida...Just give me a yell...Okay???... heh heh heh ... (darn nose just keeps gettin' longer...but I can be trusted...heh heh heh)

The Blade guide bible list the value of one of those in mint condition as $100
Would probably bring more on ebay.

To bad mine has been caried and thier is some Intials light inscribed..
I actually found it in 84 while hunting..
