Reading over the thread on the OD Green Endura reminded me of the one that color I had and lost. Replaced it with a red one. Broke the zytel clip off that one, tossed in junk drawer, took back out and filed off rest of clip from scale. Carried in pocket after that. It got dull, so I tossed it back in the junk drawer since I didn't like serrations. Took it back out, filed off serrations, evened bevels, sharpened, dropped back into pocket.

It's not fancy, it's not that pretty, it doesn't make a "statement" when I use it. But for years I've bought new knives, carried them a while and then the old red endura always ended up back in my right front pants pocket. Where it is now. End of story.

Just thought you might like to know, Sal. Good knife.

Hey Rusty~
Just a heads up, if you send that in, we'll put a metal clip on for you, and recondition/sharpen it. I'm always amazed at what Keith and crew can do with old knives.

Thanks, but I'm used to dropping it in my pocket now, and can resharpen it as needed. Likewise, a good scrubbing with dishsoap cleans it up to my satisfaction.

It has earned it's marks, dings, and scrapes, and can wear them honorably and with pride.
Maybe it isn't pretty, but it's sure been honestly useful.

Rusty -- I have a red endura and it is one of my favourites, too. And I can always see it when I drop it.

Danelle -- Your reconditioning services don't include serration removal, do they?

Thanks!
