Old Reel ID and help

i don't frequent any forums aside from this.
does anyone here have expertise in old reels?
it's a hardy brothers "the perfect" 4 1/4"
i am a hunter, and a fisherman, but fly fishing is way beyond my realm of knowledge.
is there a bernard levine of fishing reels??? haha

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that this reel was made in the '20's and should be worth something like $200.

I'll second that, in working order should be worth a pretty penny. they generally work well though as fly reels have minimal moving parts by comparison to other types (Baitcast, conventional, spin, spin cast)
 
i also have several other reels and rods that i am hoping to learn about. i will be posting here often over the next few days. i appreciate your responses, it means a great deal to me,
