I was going through a book on Greek and Roman warfare and came across an interesting picture. Circa 220 BC spanish warrior with a falcata sword and a matching knife that fit into the same scabbard. Now the falcata (or Greek kopis) may be an old relative of the kukri but what I found most interesting was that the knife (blade looked about 8") was a ringer for one othe the smaller HI's. Seems there are similar solutions to similar problems even when separated by many years. Worked then - works now.

We call that time tested and proven.

Did you know the khukuri has more documented kills than any battle blade in the history of the world? Another one of Old Uncle Billy's khukuri stories.
