Hello all,
Just picked this baby up at a gun show today, hoping I did good.
If anybody could give me more info about this knife as to model, age, and authenticity it would be great.
Sorry for the crappy pictures.
Thanks.

May I ask two questions?
1. How much did it cost
2. Do you like it
Sorry, I don't have any pertinent information but I am anxious to see your questions answered.

I bought it off a knife dealer that i frequent, he bought it off some guy at the show today for a very low price, dude must not have known what he had. The knife is awesomely sturdy, 1/4 inch thick. It has a sharpened swedge also. It is not in perfect condition, but i would rate it 95%. Very cool.

If it's been modified (sharpened swedge) and not in perfect condition it's probably not worth much. If you'd like I can meet you tomorrow (Buckeye resdient as well) and perhaps make you an offer or trade you a knife for it. Or, you could donate it to my foundation for R. Hinderer knives! :p :D

Seriously you may have some treasure there, let some of the guys with more knowledge weigh in. Maybe Rick or Rob will give you the 411 on it. Nice find.

From my untrained eye it would seem that the knife has a factory edge on it, swedge included.

I would also like to know a little more. I am yet to own a Hinderer fixed blade, hopefully that will change someday. Nice score!

Just to give some more info, I got the scoop from the man himself. The model is NSD and it was made in the late 80s early 90s.
