Taking my buddy home from work today, works for me, he wanted to stop at a Mexican second hand store to buy some DVD's .99c each . the guy had a whole shelf of knifes in the case. Long story short,,, came out with a Kershaw Black Gulch ll $10.00 and a Puma White Hunter ll #6374 with a sheath in very good condition for $57.00. So $67.00 gets me 2 great knifes. The black gulch will take some work to straighten out the bad use of the blade, but it will just be some hand work. Looks like a kid tried to cut wire or bricks with dads knife, blade was flat. The Puma, ser.#34001, Some scratches on the blade, Sheath is in used, but very nice condition. I still have my Puma Bowie that I bought in Jan. 1969 in Vietnam, carried for a tour and a half, sits in my office but still has a special place in my heart. Take a look around Old School Is O.K. rasp21.

I have been carrying a 108OT but I have Big hands, and it is getting harder to catch a thumb nick, this Kershaw Black Gulch ll may become my EDC. rasp21

Sorry,,, forgot to say--- Kershaw Black Gulch ll 3320 Oregon USA. My apologies. rasp21.

Don't know how to do pics. here, but True, as did happen. By the way, I am starting to soak my stag handles in mineral oil, have 7 of them with this white hunter. Not much for the black tactical --steel look, but this Kershaw is a serious knife, my first. rasp21.

ursamajor the Kershaw was so bad I was on the third stone, was coming along nicely, working on the edge, must have been better than I thought,,, yup ,, caught the thumb.. Blood on the blade, haven't done that in years, O.K. maybe a long long time. Anyway, that knife is sharp now.. The Puma White Hunter has some scratches on the blade, other than that, I can't see that it has any use at all. The other knife, the Kershaw, never had one before, sharpened up like a troop. Tight as new, I like the size, may be my EDC. rasp21.

Well, it really is your knife now.

The Puma is a very nice looking knife - always thought it was a beautiful classic.
