Decided to go old school on this knife. It is a slim mid-size fighter made from good old 3/16" thick 1080 carbon steel. The clip point blade is 4-1/2" long (tip to guard) and the overall length of this mistress is 9-1/4".

Full tang handle with Black G10 scales attached with brass pins and a brass lanyard tube. Guard is brass as well.

Sorry about the poor quality pics

Very slick! Kind of reminds me of an old Rippy (spl?) that I got to handle back around Gulf War I time.

Thanks guys.

This one is going to be hard to let go of...If I decide to let it go that is.

Its kinda like that old stray that keeps coming around...the more time you spend with her the more she grows on you, and eventually you look forward to seeing her every day.

Old school? i resemble that remark. Nice work.

Thanks Cousin Jack! I received this knife from Cousin Jack a couple weeks ago. The pictures do it no justice! As of three weeks ago, I owned only production "tactical" style knives from Benchmade, Spyderco, Swamp Rat, etc. This is my first custom, and my first "traditional" style blade. The finish on this knife is absolutely perfect. It took me a good 2 hours with a hand stone to put a 15 degree edge on it, that 1080 is hard stuff! I polished the edge to a mirror finish, and it cuts fingerprint without feeling it! I plan on carrying this knife throughout hunting season, and using it to clean my game. Thanks Cousin!
