What a wonderful knife it is to travel thru time with me and, hopefully, beyond me. I can hold it in my hand, marveling at its robustness, and remember the good gone days as if this object held the memories itself. Better than a photo in some ways.

I sure like the left hand side of the ebony on your 110 . Thanks for the photos . DM

Great photos.

I can't help but ask, what are those balls & other objects you're using to support & display your knife? Makes for a cool-looking backdrop.

I like your display also, hematite? The scales are great. Is the blade full?

Blade's all there edbeau and you are right about the holders. They are inexpensive magnetized Hematite, a mineral form of iron. You can find them in the youth section of gun shows in this neck of the woods, along with rubber band guns and such.

They can be shaped to hold anything magnetic so I can spin the piece of paper, that the whole pile is sitting in on, trying to find a good viewing angle. Not as strong as rare earth magnets but they stick pretty good.

Sidebar: A strong rare earth magnet in the pocket will hold a heavy knife, seemingly by magic, on the outside of your pants (if you like that kind of thing). Probably better to do this at home as the magnet can also fasten you to a parking meter, for example, if you become proximate to it.

or at least have enough change to keep you from getting a double parking ticket:D

I gave mine to my oldest son.

I picked up a 2 dot at the gun show that had been ground down.
I stopped by Buck in November and they changed out the blade
and buffed it up like new. I like it.

The rare earth magnet in my pocket is about the size of a Zippo.

I stuck the magnet to my SteelCase desk and then stuck the 2' Condor stainless machete, while in the scabbard, to the magnet. I used a cloth so I would be able to remove the magnet later and to protect my skin from being torn (gloves work as well).

Very interesting bunch of pictures. Really like the 110 also and the blade does look full.
